Thames Valley Classic & Sports Car Day
You may already have seen publicity about
this event at Hambleden, Bucks organised
by Sue Hedley of Thames Valley JEC fame.
(We believe Hambleden may be where cricket
was invented.) Those of you who have been
before will know it is a most pleasant
afternoon with a large range of vintage,
classic and modern machinery on display.
A Charity bucket on the exit for the
Thames Valley & Chiltern Air Ambulance
last year raised £800. The JEC Raffle Car
will be in attendance.
Hambleden village is off the A4155 between
Henley and Marlow and is about half an
hour from Oxford.

From Oxford you can see Chiltern villages
on the way. Go down the M40 to Junction
5, go through most of Stokenchurch and
fork right onto the B482 for Marlow. In
Lane End turn right for Frieth and then
follow your nose through Frieth and past
Skirmett to Hambleden. Fork left off the
main road to get into Hambleden village.
