Drive It Day (DID) this year was on Sunday 22nd April. Many events were organised across the country which gave us an excuse to get our classics out and go somewhere!
The following events were within easy reach of Oxford
Option 2. Hagerty International, Silverstone
Option 3. Abingdon to Ablington with the Abingdon Works Centre
Cliveden House with JEC Thames Valley

Hagerty International, Silverstone
Hagerty International is a classic car insurance company based at Silverstone and hosted a classic car tour to celebrate Drive It Day. Classic car owners were invited to join them on a scenic tour on starting from Silverstone Racing Club.
The eighty-two-mile country tour passed some stunning scenery and historic sites, the final destination being Donington Park with its world famous Grand Prix Collection.

Abingdon to Ablington with the Abingdon Works Centre
The Theme for this year's run was "The Bridges of the Thames Upstream from Abingdon".The run started from a location in Abingdon and meander through Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire following Old Father Thames to finish close by the traditionally identified source at Thames Head near Kemble.
The event was open to all classic cars, entry fee £4 per person.
