With other Daimler & Jaguar owners from across the Midlands for all the fun of the fair!
JEC Northants Region invited the surrounding regions to their local playground.
Wicksteed Park was the first Leisure Park in the UK and is a combination of a Country Park with a Leisure Park.
It was founded in 1913 when Charles Wicksteed purchased about 150 acres to create safe parkland for local families. His firm supplied park seats and playground equipment for public parks, so these were naturally installed as well. There is now a Board of Trustees which continues his good work.
The event included the ever popular blindfolded driving competition, welly wanging, tombolla, cake stall, a possible fly past by the RAF and live music.
